Dance Victoria is hosting auditions for the Children's Ensemble of Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Nutcracker, accompanied by the Victoria Symphony. The acclaimed company will be sharing five performances at the historic Royal Theatre:
 

November 27–29 • 7:00 pm

November 28 + 30 • 1:00 pm

 

Successful dancers will be selected by a Royal Winnipeg Ballet artist via the audition process and receive weekly professional training culminating with on-stage rehearsals and performances the week of November 23–29. Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory.
 
The children are an integral part of the production, performing as polar bears, angels, partygoers and more. Every successful dancer will have the opportunity to perform in full costume with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet on the Royal Theatre stage.

Please note that an audition fee of $25 will be applied to each child registered to audition. If accepted, each child will be charged an additional rehearsal fee of $60. These fees help offset costs associated with professional instruction and studio usage.
