CLASS WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS

Withdrawal for KCDS COMPETITION TEAM & COMPETITION CLASS DANCERS: September 30, 2023
KCDS Competition Team & Competition Class Dancers: Written notice (e-mail is acceptable) is required for withdrawal from class (es) and will be accepted until, September 30, 2023. Please submit your written notice to us by the 30th of the month. This will result in you not being charged on the 1st of the next month. After September 30, 2023 it is expected that dancers will remain with the studio Competition Team for the dance year, Sept 2023 to May 2024. Performance Fee Costume deposit(s) $110.00 class due after the drop out date of September 30, 2023 and are non-refundable. RAD Exam deposit(s) $90.00/ graded classes and Vocational classes are charged on November 3, 2023.
Media Fee $22.00 - Charged October 15, not refundable as drop out date (09/30/23) for Comp Team / Class dancers has past.

Hotels close to The Port Theatre:

As Phoenix Dance Comp is on the island there will be families that don’t require a hotel stay.

The schedule arrives about 3-4 weeks before the competition.

Dancers in only 1 number may be able to come and go in one day. However we won't know for sure until the schedule arrives.

It is suggested that we book the dates and then cancel once we receive our schedule.

Dancers need to be there for their performance and their award session.

Although there are over all awards, each group performs one time.

Dancers are welcome attend overall awards but it’s not necessary

You are welcome to book any hotel that works for you.

It is suggested that pre-paying hotels that will result in no-refunds if cancelled/changed are not a good option as we won't have the schedule until closer to our competition date.

CREWJam is when KCDS CREWS perform for each other. Please keep this date open. Dancers are with us from 645-815pm. No costumes, dress in black with proper hip hop shoes.
