In the office this year is Miss. Mary Lou, aka: Mumsie, (Karen and Richelle's Mom), along with Miss Debbie, Miss Sue, Miss Terri and Miss Rachael. Normally there is someone in the office Monday - Friday from 3:00 – 7:00pm and Saturday from 9:30-1:00pm. To reach the studio office the phone number is 250-658-0445.

Parents - Thank you for sending us a wonderful group of dancers. Thank you to all Dancers and Parents for Proper Dance Attire and hair pulled back. We are looking forward to a great year!
NEWSLETTER ON OUR WEB SITE
Our newsletters are posted on our web site on the 1st of each month. If you do not have Internet access please call the studio office and we will arrange a hard copy for you. Newsletters are very important to keep updated with studio information. Newsletters will not be sent to you – we ask that you go on line and read them.
CLASS WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS

Withdrawal for KCDS DANCERS: October 31, 2026
KCDS Non-Competition Class Dancers: Written notice (e-mail is acceptable) is required for withdrawal from class (es) and will be accepted until, Oct. 31, 2026. Please submit your written notice to us by the 30th of the month. This will result in you not being charged on the 1st of the next month. After October 31, 2026 it is expected that dancers will remain with the studio for the dance year, Sept 2026 to June 2027. Performance Fee Costume deposit(s) $95.00 class charged on November 2, 2026 ~ due after the drop out date of October 31, 2026 and are non-refundable. The RAD Exam deposit(s) $90.00/grade are charged on November 3, 2026.

2027 RECITAL AND DRESS REHEARSAL DATES
Please mark these dates down and keep these dates open. All classes will perform in one rehearsal and one recital. We will head into our dance year with this goal in mind and be ready if changes are necessary.
RECITALS: May 07, 08, (2 shows on the 8th.)
DRESS REHEARSALS: April 27, 28, 29. The Recital Breakdown of what class performs in which show will be available in early 2027.
If you have more than one child dancing or a child taking more than one class a week, please be aware that you could be involved in more than one show. This would mean purchasing tickets for all shows you plan on attending.

COSTUME FEE: Costumes are an exciting part of our performance. Costume money deposit of $95 per Dancer per class will be posted to your account and charged on November 2. Some costumes may require your attention with trim/accessories in making the finished product. Competition Team & Competition Class Costume Fee $120.00 will be posted to your account and will be charged on October 2,
RAD EXAM BALLET DEPOSIT: If your Dancer is in an Exam class the presentation / class award / exam deposit in the amount of $90 will be posted to your account and charged on November 3. The balance will be due in the Spring.

Fun Fact: Dance is unique in that it is both an art and a sport. It stands at a unique intersection of requiring extreme physicality while maintaining a certain level of ease, finesse, and grace.
Performance Company Dancers will be attending Groove Street Dance Convention in Vancouver, October 23-25. Please continue to watch the website for updates.
